What is Case4Work?
Case4Work is an innovative rental model for mobile working. We make workation, remote work, and temporary project work professionally possible – with preconfigured setups in a case. Learn more about us here.
How does Case4Work work?
You choose the right Case4Work set for your trip, book it online, and have it conveniently delivered or pick it up at one of our drop-off points. Simply unpack it on-site, connect it, and get started. After the rental period, you return the setup or have it picked up again.
When is Case4Work worthwhile?
Case4Work is particularly worthwhile for business trips, temporary workspaces, events, trade fairs, workations, or if you want to work flexibly. Ideal for anyone who needs professional equipment without owning it permanently.

Booking & rental period
How do I book a setup?
You can easily book your desired Case4Work package online here on our website. Choose your setup, the rental period, and any optional add-ons – we'll take care of the rest. We're happy to prepare customized offers for accommodations and companies .
When can I rent and for how long?
Bookings are possible with a minimum of four days' notice. Currently, bookings are available until the end of 2025. For more spontaneous bookings or rental inquiries for 2026, please contact us via the contact form . We aim to respond to every inquiry within 24 hours.
Is there a minimum or maximum rental period?
The minimum rental period is 2 calendar days, and the maximum rental period is currently 3 months. Longer rental periods are possible upon request via the contact form .
Can I extend my rental period?
Yes, as long as your setup isn't reassigned immediately afterward. Please contact us early via email or contact form so we can check availability and schedule the extension for you.
How do I cancel my booking?
Contact us by email (support@case4work.com) or via the contact form. We will confirm your cancellation within 24 hours and refund the outstanding amount and your deposit within the next 7 days, subject to the rental and usage conditions .
What do I get back if I cancel?
You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 14 days before the start of the rental. Up to 1 day before, you will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are possible on or after the start of the rental. The deposit will be fully refunded in all cases.
Delivery & Returns
What pickup and delivery options are available?
You have the choice: you can either pick up your setup free of charge in Sinzheim (postal code: 76547) or from one of our regional collection points (more information can be found here ). Alternatively, we can deliver and pick it up again within a 50km radius of our main location in Sinzheim. This service costs €25 for up to 10km and €50 for up to 50km (more information can be found here ). The third option is nationwide delivery and return via Hermes luggage shipping (for Case4Work Smart & Comfort) for €75 and via DHL parcel shipping (for Case4Work Flex) for €50 (more information can be found here ).
How is the setup handed over upon pickup?
Pickup and return will take place in person at an agreed time between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on the booking start and end dates. Further information can be found here .

How is the setup handover carried out for local delivery?

How does delivery across Germany work?
If you choose shipping, we will send the setup directly to your address via Hermes Luggage Shipping or DHL Parcel Shipping, three business days before the start of your booking. You will receive a tracking number in advance and can track the delivery. Returns will also be sent via Hermes Luggage Shipping or DHL Parcel Shipping, and can be picked up or delivered to a store on the last day of your booking. You can find out more here .
When and how do I have to return the setup?
By 8:00 PM on the last day of your booking (unless otherwise agreed upon individually). You must return or send it as agreed. Returns before the end of the rental period are possible – however, there will be no refunds for unused days. Further details on returns can be found here: Pickup , Local Delivery , Shipping
Can I return the setup early?
Yes, this is possible at any time. Please inform us in advance. For organizational reasons, a refund for the remaining rental days is not possible.
Prices, rates & deposit
How much does the setup cost per day?
The price depends on the setup (Flex, Smart, or Comfort) and the rental period. The longer you rent, the cheaper the daily rate becomes – thanks to our tiered rate models. You can rent Case4Work Flex from €4, Case4Work Smart from €5, and Case4Work Comfort from €6 per day.
How do the costs change with longer rental periods?
Our price scale rewards longer use. The daily price drops significantly starting from day 4. The lowest rate applies for rentals of 29 days or more ("Homebase Rate"). You can find out more on the respective product pages .
How is the rental price calculated?
A flat service fee is charged for setup and cleaning. In addition, there are daily rates for the products, which become increasingly cheaper with longer usage. You can find further information on the respective product pages .
How are the add-on products priced?
The add-on products only involve a one-time cost. There is no daily fee.
How much is the deposit and how does it work?
The deposit is between €200 and €300, depending on the set. It is paid upon booking (e.g., via PayPal or credit card) and fully refunded within 7 days after the setup has been returned without any complaints.
Which payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major payment methods such as PayPal, credit card and Shopify Payments.
Use & Equipment
What is included in the setup?
Each setup includes two monitors, a docking station, a mouse (and keyboard, if applicable), all necessary cables, and a high-quality carrying case or bag. The exact features vary depending on the selected set.
What technology do the respective setups contain?
- Case4Work Comfort: 2× 27" QHD monitors, Logitech MK950 set
- Case4Work Smart: 2× 18.5" Full HD monitors, Logitech MK950 set
- Case4Work Flex: 2× 14" Full HD monitors, Logitech M220 Silent mouse
All three setups are equipped with a docking station that offers connections for HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, LAN, SD/microSD.
How secure are the setups?
The cases in the Case4Work Comfort and Case4Work Smart setups are equipped with inserts that are also used for sensitive camera cases. Our extensive tests have confirmed their high impact and shock resistance, and the cases can be easily checked in, placed in the overhead compartment, or loaded into the trunk. However, you should, of course, not overdo it with the load. The cases are secured with a lock to prevent theft.
The Case4Work Flex Setup is not secured with anything other than the bag and must be handled with care.
Can I fly with the setups?
Yes, the setups are not only designed to withstand the rigors of transporting luggage during flights or train journeys, but are also optimized to remain within standard baggage classes in terms of size and weight. Of course, you'll have to book the slots for the luggage yourself with the airline, but taking them with you is generally not a problem.
Can I travel abroad with the setups?
Of course, you can take the setups with you abroad. With the add-on product travel adapter, you can also get the setups working outside of Europe.
Can I book add-ons?
Yes, you can add accessories such as a Jabra Speak 510 speaker, a notebook cooler, or a travel adapter – ideal if you want to customize your setup.
Can I carry the add-on products in my suitcase?
Yes, the add-ons fit in the cases of all setups.
Does everything work with Mac and Windows?
Yes, our setups are compatible with both Windows and MacBooks. We've tested the setups with many models and found no issues. A USB-C/Thunderbolt port is ideal; older devices may require an adapter.
Damage, Loss & Insurance
What happens in the event of damage?
Please contact us immediately. Minor signs of wear and tear are not a problem. We will examine technical defects or damage on a case-by-case basis. Gross negligence or deliberate damage will result in a reduction of the deposit. Further information can be found in the rental and usage conditions .
What if the setup is stolen?
In this case, you are obligated to report the theft immediately and inform us. You are responsible for the damages – we recommend taking out insurance. Further information can be found in the rental and usage terms and conditions .
Who is liable in case of loss?
In principle, the tenant is liable for any damage or loss during the rental period. Further information can be found in the rental and usage conditions .
Is there insurance?
We're currently preparing to offer direct insurance through us. Until then, you can purchase rental equipment insurance yourself or a protection package through third-party providers.

We offer customized solutions tailored to your business. Whether we deliver the setup directly to your property (and install it if necessary) or store it on your premises, it doesn't matter whether your guests book directly on your website or through us. What costs do you incur as a partner?
There are no direct costs for you. Depending on the model, you may receive a commission or provide the setup as a value-added service. We will discuss the details with you individually.
